Author and Historian Michael Cecere will discuss how Virginia's capital responded to the challenges and hardships of war and how the city was changed forever by it.
Join Author and Historian Michael Cecere for a lecture on Williamsburg at War: Virginia's Colonial Capital in the Revolutionary War. While Boston and Philadelphia are cities most associated with the American Revolution, Williamsburg also deserves recognition for its significance in the Revolution and War for Independence. Cecere will describe how Virginia's capital responded to the challenges and hardships of war and how the city was changed forever by it. Williamsburg at War and Cecere's other books will be available for sale/signing by the author following the lecture.
