There is no better way to experience Historic Yorktown than taking a stroll with a professional historian! Tour guides Maureen Wiese and J. Michael Moore will provide interesting information and insights not typically found in history books.
This walking tour of the Yorktown National Battlefield will include the British Defense line,
discussion of 1st and 2nd Parallels, and Redoubts 9 and Redoubts 10. Topics will also include the
Moore House where the surrender terms were negotiated, and the Surrender on October 19,
1781.
Tour begins at The National Park Visitor Center Parking Lot.
