The Talking History Lecture Series continues with a free public lecture on “Seeking Freedom: Black Refugees in Time of War” by Marvin-Alonzo Greer, historian and genealogist.
The public lecture will begin at 7 p.m., with limited capacity and advance online registration required at jyfmuseums.org/lectures.
The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown tells the story of the nation’s founding, from the twilight of the colonial period to the dawn of the Constitution and beyond. Immersive gallery exhibits, films, and outdoor living-history areas are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Parking is free.
