There is no better way to experience Historic Yorktown than taking a stroll with a professional historian! Tour guides Maureen Wiese and J. Michael Moore will provide interesting information and insights not typically found in history books.
This walking tour begins at the British Inner Defenses and follows a path to Redoubts 9 and 10. Hear the fascinating story of how the Allies captured both redoubts in less than 30 minutes! Within five days the British Army surrendered to the American and French allies and the rest is history.
Meet at the National Park Service Visitor Center Parking Lot. Must be able to walk at a leisurely pace for an hour with stops along the way.
