Join us all summer long for free outdoor concerts by the river.
Yorktown's
Sounds of Summer concert series runs Thursday nights from 7 to 9:30 p.m. through August 26.
This week's featured band is
The Uptown Band.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown's waterfront restaurants, including Water Street Grille, Riverwalk Restaurant, Carrot Tree, Umi Sushi, Ben & Jerry's, Yorktown Pub, and Larry's. Coastal Thirst will also have grab-and-go options inside the area for those in attendance.

August 26: Tidewater Drive Band (rescheduled date)
COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Under new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks, although individuals who are not yet vaccinated are still strongly encouraged to do so. Anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, or who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus within 14 days, is not permitted to enter. Hand sanitizer stations will be available in multiple locations throughout the venue and there will be routine cleaning and disinfection in high contact/traffic areas throughout the event.
Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas, or tents are allowed. There will also be no dance floor.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing parking terrace, York Hall, York County Courts & Office Complex, and other public parking lots throughout town. The Yorktown Trolley will run from 5 to 10 p.m. during every concert
with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
