Historic Lecture and Wine in the Garden

Sunday, July 5, 2020

As we continue celebrating the birthday of the United States of America, join us for an engaging talk about Virginia’s role in the American Revolution.

From Patrick Henry's passionate speeches on liberty to George Washington's military leadership and Thomas Jefferson's writing of the Declaration of Independence, Virginia led the way in the fight for freedom from Great Britain and, ultimately, for a new nation.

Seating outside in the backyard with tables safely distanced. Ticket includes lecture by Mobjack's own Historian, J. Michael Moore, and Mobjack's own American History Educator, Maureen Wiese; one glass of wine or beer; and a cheese plate for two. A face mask is required to enter Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters & Petite Café.

Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic—all York County sponsored and partner community events are subject to postponement or cancellation. This includes changes to dates, times, and locations.
