CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC - Wreaths Across America Ceremony

A remembrance ceremony conducted by the Yorktown Coast Guard Station and members of local organizations to pay tribute to our fallen war veterans. Fresh Christmas wreaths will be placed on grave markers at Yorktown National Cemetery.

Thanks to community support, Yorktown National Cemetery was able to reach its goal this year in raising enough money to place a wreath on every grave. Due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions issued by Gov. Northam on 11/13, this ceremony will be closed to the public. Coast Guard members will lay the wreaths to maintain the limited capacity on site.
