Survivor Yorktown Camp Kicks Off at the Watermen's Museum

Monday, August 19, 2019

Make it a summer they’ll always remember by registering your children for this award-winning camp that starts today.

How did colonists survive? What hardships did people endure during the Battle of Yorktown? What was it like to be a soldier during the Civil War? Those are some of the topics campers will investigate during this program that runs daily from August 19-23. Ages: Rising Grade 5 to Grade 10. Registration is available until all slots are full. Discounts are available for families with a child or children enrolled in more than a single program session of any type. Each signup earns a one-year Museum membership beginning on June 1, 2019.

The Watermen's Museum won Peninsula Silver for Best Summer Camp in the 2019 Coastal Virginia "Best of Readers Choice" awards.
