The Gallery at York Hall on Main St. is a treasure trove of work by hundreds of local artists. Set aside some time to browse; there’s so much to see! From children’s books and ornaments to stunning paintings, quilts, and photography, there’s something for even the hardest to shop for people on your list. One of the best parts about shopping at the Gallery is knowing a portion of the proceeds from each purchase goes back into the community, supporting performing and visual arts in Historic Yorktown. Another fun stop on your gift-shopping spree is Auntie M’s American Cottage. Self-taught owner/artist “Auntie M” (Marilyn West) has filled her shop with handcrafted work from outstanding American artists and fine craftspeople from Yorktown and all across the country.
