Sometimes you just need a moment of quiet reflection and relaxation. Begin your day by walking the charming streets of Historic Yorktown. The quaint homes and beautiful vistas overlooking the York River offer the perfect opportunity to catch your breath and relax. Take a moment to browse through the stores at Riverwalk Landing, and be sure to stop into the Yorktown Bookshop.

End the day with your new book, a quiet corner at Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters, and a delicious pastry from their bakery.

Romance on the Riverwalk

For couples looking for the perfect date, visit Carrot Tree Kitchens for their delicious grab-and-go options before they close at 3 p.m., and enjoy a romantic picnic on the beach. This can be followed by a concert and a fun night of dancing at our Rhythms on the Riverwalk.

Stock up on fresh produce and treats to snack on for your day of sightseeing and exploring. Then make your way over to the Yorktown Battlefield. With more than eleven miles of wooded roads to explore, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fall colors. Be sure to make time for the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown where you’ll learn about our nation’s beginnings and the patriots who fought for our independence.

By evening, you’ve worked up an appetite, so grab a scrumptious dinner at the Yorktown Pub featuring fresh local seafood and pub-style meals. Then end the day with a bang – or a boo! – with a spooky tour with Yorktown Ghost Walks.
