Yorktown Armed Forces Appreciation Weekend
June 9 - 10, 2018 

Events will occur throughout the village to include Revolutionary War, War of 1812, WWI, WWII, Vietnam War and modern military exhibitions. 

Special exhibits and programs will be presented at the Watermen’s Museum, York County Historical Museum at York Hall, Museum on Main, Colonial National Historical Park, American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, and Riverwalk Landing. 

Events will include vendors, craft demonstrators, living history tours, and historic music, including a USO themed swing dance on Saturday night. Sunday’s events will highlight the history of the US Coast Guard with a tribute to the 1813 Battle of the USRC Surveyor and will end with a patriotic concert by the York River Symphony Orchestra. 

Join us for a patriotic salute to our Armed Forces as we celebrate the contributions of our American Heroes, Past ~ Present ~ Future 

Free admission to the Watermen’s Museum, Museum on Main, York County Historical Museum, Grace Church, and the Custom House.
