Are you a groom or bride-to-be who dreams of exchanging your vows on the beach? We can’t think of a more charming location than the Yorktown Waterfront!
You can use the beach area for your wedding or vow renewal ceremony as long as you file a request for a permit beforehand. The same applies for use of the adjacent picnic area for large gatherings during rehearsal dinners, company outings, picnics, family reunions, and other approved uses.
Please click on the form below which outlines all of the conditions you need to know. If you still have questions, don’t hesitate to call 757-890-5900 and someone will be happy to help you. We know what a relief it will be to check off one of the most important items on your list—the venue!
Facility Request Permit (PDF) - Requests must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event.
To exchange your vows on Yorktown Beach, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable fee and complete a Facility Request.
Once it has been approved, you will also get directions on what you need to know leading up to your big event and important reminders for the day of your ceremony.
