This date isn’t just special to Yorktown—it’s significant to all Americans. Several patriotic festivities to commemorate the Siege of Yorktown and procurement of independence will take place throughout the day. Highlights include a parade, performance by the Fifes and Drums of York Town, military tactical demonstrations, and more. Two published historians, Alan R. Hoffman and Jenny L. Cote, will have book signings at the Gallery at York Hall from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
